Aastha Jain

Hi! I am a masters student in IEOR at Columbia University, where I'm fortunate to be advised by Prof. Tianyi Lin. My current research focuses on multi-objective optimization, AI alignment, and preference modeling.

Before this, I spent a fulfilling year at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, working with Prof. Sandeep Juneja. Even before that, I completed my B.Tech in Industrial Engineering at IIT Delhi, where I was guided by Dr. Kiran Seth.

When I'm not buried in research, I'm busy building Weaverly — a fun little startup that helps women find new friends and build real connections in their city. Because making friends as an adult should be easier (and way more enjoyable)!
